Printing and Saving Pages
To print a Web page:
- Click on the File menu, the click Print, or click on the Print icon on the
toolbar.
- In the dialog box, set the printing options you want.
You can preview how a Web page will look and see how many printed pages it
will be by clicking the File menu and then clicking Preview (or
choose Preview from the icon toolbar). Since many screen sizes and Web pages can be configured differently, this option is very helpful and prevents wasting unnecessary ink, toner and paper.
You can change how the pages will print by clicking the File menu then
clicking on Page Setup. This option allows you to choose the page size, rotation such as landscape or
portrait and margins.
To save a Web page:
- To save an entire Web page, click on the File menu then click Save.
Give the page a name then click Save. This will save the Web page to your
local hard drive.
- To save a piece of text on a page, select the text by highlighting it. Then
right click on the text and select from the menu Copy selected text to the
clipboard. You can then paste the text into another application.
Alternatively, after selecting the text, you can click on the Edit menu
and click Copy.
